Why not set more realistic deadlines then? I’m new to this, but won’t always missing the deadlines means that we’re not competent enough?

I’m also aware of designing experiences that are not just for the sake of completing it before deadline, but to build a seamless user-experience that meet both the business and user needs. So, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
