Now this is what is called a proper case-study and redesign!
Kudos to you, brother.
Everything about this just makes-sense and feels utterly normal. And in my amateur opinion, that is the best a UX designer can hope to achieve. I especially liked how each page looked as if it was live up and running, by making changes after viewing them in the device being designed for.
If I may suggest, some new features & layouts do look and feel a little bit like GMaps. Now that’s not a bad thing at all, in-fact it will prove beneficial for conversion and for the sake of consistency without needing a learning curve. But the same would also encourage some users to distance or refrain from using this, when they know that it was already done previously by a competitor, subconsciously. This is just my opinion and I have no proofs or facts to back this up.
But then again, most of the famous designs and features are also inspired to other apps for the same reason. Eg: Snapchat Stories, endless feed, etc..
I’d love to hear your opinions on this. Thank You
